Abstract:
Dear Colleagues!
This is a first issue of Acta Societetis Metheoriticar Polonorum (ASMP). The main aim of the Editor, was to create a journal containing papers dealing with the present state of knowledge about meteorites and related objects. All articles, included to the volume, describe the most important results of meteorite investigations, and show historic aspect of the cosmic matter studies and planetary science. Most papers from this ASMP, were presented and discussed during different conferences and symposiums. The published papers had been reviewed.
  We hope that ASMP will be periodically printed and the following volumes will cover the range of investigations, interested for earth and planetary scientists as well as for the hobbyists. It is our deep conviction that the cover design of the journal will be also recognizable mark of Polskie Towarzystwo Meteorytowe. The annual print of the papers will be helpful to update the knowledge by regular presentation of the newest results of the meteoritic investigations.
